Satwa – The Essence of Nature, Handcrafted

Satwa was born from something deeply personal— a mother’s love, a reverence for heritage, and a longing to return to what’s pure and real. Rooted in the healing traditions of Ayurveda and handcrafted with care in Australia, Satwa is more than a skincare brand. It’s a reflection of how we live, what we believe in, and how we care for ourselves and others.

Growing up in a traditional Indian home, I was surrounded by the natural wisdom of herbs and Home remedies. My family used things like turmeric, Tulasi (Holy Basil), Neem, sandalwood, and other sacred ingredients to heal, soothe, and nurture. These rituals weren’t just about skincare—they were acts of love, passed down through generations.

As a mother, I wanted to offer my own family something that carried that same intention: skincare that is safe, natural, and rooted in tradition, without compromise. But I quickly realised that many "natural" products on the market were far from authentic. They felt overly processed, too commercial, and disconnected from the simplicity and richness of nature.

And so, Satwa was created—a line of handcrafted vegan soaps that blend ancient Ayurvedic principles with modern, eco-conscious living. Every bar is made using non-GMO, plant-based oils sourced in Australia and enriched with artisan fragrances and botanical extracts. From formulation to packaging, everything is done with intention, honesty, and respect for both people and the planet.

Our soaps are not mass-produced. They are poured, shaped, and wrapped by hand in small batches—just like remedies were made in my childhood home. They are raw, real, and full of the earth’s quiet power.
